Arriving at the port
Ships cannot berth here, so passengers come ashore in inflatable zodiac tenders.

Sightseeing
Named for its two dramatic peaks, or ‘horns’, this rarely visited island hosts about 10,000 pairs of Adelie penguins. Subject to weather, you can climb a scree slope to the western summit. A few hundred meters high, it looks over Erebus and Terror Gulf. Nesting snow petrels and Wilson’s storm petrels may appear on the upper slopes, while less active visitors can watch the beach penguins and skuas. Many grounded icebergs often lie offshore.
