Sightseeing

The huts left by the great Antarctic explorers, Shackleton at Cape Royds and Scott at Cape Evans, bear witness to the hardships these pioneers endured. Both are maintained by the New Zealand Antarctic Society and everything is just as it was originally left - including bales of hale for horses and seal meat for the huskies.
