The new international cruise terminal in South Korea's Yeosu City, in the heart of the World Expo 2012 site.
The KTX rail system links the cruise terminal to Seoul in approximately three hours, while a ride to Yeosu Airport takes 30 minutes.

Yeosu is one of the country's most picturesque port cities especially at night. Famous for its seafood, beaches, flowers and marinas, it is developing as an international ocean resort and tourist destination as well as being selected as a host city for the 2012 World Expo in Yeosu Harbor.
Hyangiram Hermitage. A beautiful temple-like hermitage with views of the sea and the scattered islands that make up Yeosu Peninsula. The hermitage itself is located up the sides of a cliff and the entire complex is connected by a series of very thin trails winding their way through tight caves and under twisted evergreen foliage. Rather claustrophobic, but unique making it one of Yeosu's must-see attractions. The symbol of the hermitage is the turtle, after the distinctive natural hexagonal pattern on the rocks resembling a turtle's shell. A top tourist destination in Yeosu, Odongdo Island is known among young couples as an ‘Island of Love.’ Seagulls greet ferry passengers and crisscross over the ferry’s wake as it makes its way across the peaceful waters. The island is also connected with the mainland and can be reached by the Dongbaek (Magnolia) Train or on foot. The whole island exudes tranquility: from the wooded walking trail to the 25 meter-high lighthouse observatory and musical fountain.

The currency of South Korea is the won. 1 US$= approx 1000 won.
ATM are ubiquitous, but most Korean ATMs don't accept foreign cards, only special Global ATMs do. These can be found at airports and some subway stations in major cities, as well as in many Family Mart convenience stores, so stock up before heading to the countryside. Credit card acceptance, on the other hand, is very good, and all but the very cheapest restaurants and motels will take Visa and Mastercard.
Staying connected
Korean. English fairly well spoken, especially by the younger generation. They surely like to practice their skills on english speaking tourists.
South Korea is the world's most wired country and Cafes which offer free WiFi for customers, known as PC bang, are ubiquitous through the country.
