Arriving at the port
Port of Tarragona has a dedicated cruise berth where four ships can moor simultaneously, alongside the Port Tarraco marina for smaller cruise vessels.
Tarragona’s cruise terminal is in the Port of Tarragona, approximately 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) from downtown. It is a little far for a comfortable walk, but taxis and sometimes shuttle services carry visitors from the terminal to the city center.
Operating since May 2024, the new cruise terminal can handle four cruise ships at once.
Tarragona is a very pleasant, very small city, with its own La Rambla and gothic/old quarter, plus many Roman ruins and museums to visit.

Getting around
Every Tarragona sight is within walking distance of the train station; taxis and local trains reach places farther away.
