On Mallorca’s north west coast, Sóller occupies a green valley below the island’s highest mountains. Much of the town is residential and agricultural, with orange, lemon and olive groves. The more tourist-oriented resort of Port de Sóller is four kilometers away.

Sóller and Port de Sóller have a combined population of 12 000. The town has an attractive square, and many of its buildings are architecturally interesting.

Getting around

A tram connects Sóller train station with Port de Sóller about every half hour from 7AM until 8:30PM. Tickets cost €4 per journey and can be bought onboard.
