Arriving at the port
As vessels moor or anchor at this port, passengers are carried by tender to Love Boat Marina.
Princess Cays is not close to any significant town or city on Eleuthera. It is principally a private resort district created for cruise passengers, with beaches, amenities and activities supplied by Princess Cruises.
The private Princess Cays resort occupies more than 40 acres at the southern tip of the island and includes over a half-mile of white-sand coast.
Princess Cays is an isolated peninsula near Eleuthera Island's tip, roughly 30 miles over the sea from Nassau. Around forty acres are set aside exclusively for cruise-line passengers, and every activity at this Princess-only destination begins and ends on the beach. Fill the day with swimming, kayaking, paddle boating, banana boating (visit to discover what that means!), snorkelling, jet-skiing and parasailing. Children have a dedicated playground and pint-size "pirate ship", while explorers can follow trails to the Crow's Nest, Mangrove Lagoon and Lagoon Lookout.
Money
The Bahamian dollar (B$) is the local currency. It is equal in value to the US dollar, and both are accepted throughout the country.

Opening Hours and
Bahamian shops may open on Sunday, but almost none do, leaving it a particularly quiet day for commerce. At other times, morning is the best period for shopping, when temperatures are milder and crowds are smaller.
