01

Arriving at the port

Celebration Key is Carnival Cruise Line's first private destination created for CCL guests. Situated on Grand Bahama Island, its pier can accommodate two Excel-class ships, Carnival's largest, at the same time.

The island is arranged into 5 distinct zones known as "Portals".

Paradise Plaza, the Guest Services portal, is the place to organise the day's adventure. It contains an excursion desk and an ice-cream vendor, with occasional live music.

The family-friendly Starfish Lagoon portal includes access to the beach and lagoon pool, a splash pad, a pair of racing waterslides around the sandcastle structure, sports courts, loungers and several dining choices. Cabana options range from beach and floating cabanas to villas with personal slides leading into the pool.

According to Carnival, the adult-friendly Calypso Lagoon portal has an energetic atmosphere created by a DJ. Alongside a swim-up bar and access to the lagoon pool, guests can relax on a white-sand beach and swim in Bahamian waters. Cabanas are similar to those in the Family-Friendly Portal, while several dining venues include a full-service restaurant serving varied cuisines, some with traditional Bahamian flavours.

The Private Club portal, Pearl Cove Beach Club, provides a premium adults-only setting for guests who want a restful day. Its facilities include a sea-facing infinity pool, loungers shaded by palm trees, a dedicated beach area with premier and private access, and an elevated dining experience.

Lokono Cove is the portal devoted to local Bahamian culture. Bahamian makers and retailers sell artisanal goods alongside duty-free shops, specifically jewellery, while local Bahamian flavours and murals painted by local Bahamian artists create a more traditional experience.
