Arriving at the port
Unlike Nassau or Freeport, Long Island has no major cruise terminal. Visiting ships often use smaller ports or anchor offshore, with passengers tendered to shore.
Clarence Town, the island’s main settlement, is commonly used by smaller cruise ships and yachts. Offshore ships tender into the town centre, so this compact settlement is easy to explore on foot.

Getting around
Because attractions are spaced apart, a hired car or local taxi makes sense beyond walkable Clarence Town. Hotels and local providers can normally arrange rental cars or guided tours.

A 15 min car journey reaches Dean’s Blue Hole, the world’s second-deepest blue hole, for snorkeling, diving and swimming.
Guided visits are available at Hamilton’s Cave, one of the Bahamas’ largest cave systems, about 20 minutes by car from Clarence Town.
