Arriving at the port
Kiriwina is a tender port.
Kiriwina Island is relatively small and has no single "downtown" district of the kind found in a large city. Visitors are most likely to see Losuia, the island's main administrative and commercial village.

Kiriwina is the largest Trobriand Island, covering 290.5 km².[1] It forms part of Papua New Guinea's Milne Bay Province. Of the 12,000 Trobriand residents, most live on Kiriwina. Kilivila, also called Kiriwina, is the island's language, and Losuia is its principal town.
Getting around
Calm water around Kiriwina conceals a varied aquatic world. Snorkelling and diving are particularly popular here, bringing visitors close to abundant marine life among the impressive coral reefs and crystal-clear sea distinctive to islands such as Kiriwina.
