Arriving at the port
You will be tendered to a brand new jetty.
A picturesque group of 21 islands surrounding a bright blue lagoon, the Conflict Islands are home to one of the world’s most biodiverse reef systems. During their visit, guests made the most of the island paradise taking part in kayaking, snorkeling and stand-up paddleboarding as well as glass bottom boat and outrigger canoe tours.
This cruise destination is only since 2016 offered.
It was named in 1880 by Bower, captain of HMS Conflict.

The main island, Panasesa is open to travellers for private hire and features a resort Club House, six beachfront bungalows and runway capable of landing short-haul flights. Activities on offer include sport fishing, diving, kayaking, sailing, boating and nature encounters.
Getting around
With a third of the world’s species of marine fish, the Conflict Islands are home to everything from the tiny ghost pipe fish to the huge manta rays and killer whales. The 21 uninhabited tropical islands surround a spectacular lagoon and are currently under consideration for a World Heritage Marine Site. Among the group of islands, Irai island has been found to have the second best coral in the world with the most number of species noted in a single dive – a divers absolute dream!
Money
Vouchers are used - $A25, $A50 or $A100 - instead of cash for equipment hire, food, and drinks. Vouchers are for sale either on the ship (at a discount) or on the island from two locations. No refunds.
