Making the most of Formentera

Use these notes to shape a realistic day ashore, then confirm any time-sensitive information for the date of your call.

01

Arriving at the port

Your ship will be docked at Savina Harbor.

The port area has busy bars and restaurants, along with car, scooter and bike rentals. It extends between an inland lake on one side and a small sheltered harbor on the other, with wide views, especially towards Ibiza and Es Vedra.

There is a webcam of the harbor.

Formentera is a true island: it has no airport and can only be reached by sea. This isolation is largely responsible for its tranquillity and excellent state of preservation.

02

Getting around

Hire a bike at the dock to explore this sleepy island, passing salt pans, fish drying in the sun, ancient windmills and megalithic remains.
