Arriving at the port
Zhoushan's main cruise facility stands in the Beilun Port area of the Zhoushan Archipelago. Its exact address is: Beilun Port Cruise Terminal, Beilun District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, China.
Zhoushan comprises several islands, with the cruise terminal positioned on one of them. It is approximately 10-15 kilometres (about 6-10 miles) from Zhoushan's principal urban areas, such as Zhoushan City. A car journey from the terminal to downtown typically lasts around 20-30 minutes.
Zhoushan Archipelago New Area has been developed for tourism and city living, with modern attractions, parks and shopping districts. Distance: close to the cruise terminal. Activities: browse shopping centres, visit parks and try local dining.
Getting around
Putuo Mountain (Putuoshan) is a renowned Buddhist pilgrimage destination with peaceful scenery, temples and pagodas. It offers insight into Chinese religious culture and beautiful views. Distance: approximately 30-40 kilometres (about 20-25 miles) from the cruise terminal. Activities: see Puji Temple, follow the scenic trails and admire coastal vistas.
Picturesque Zhujiajian Island is celebrated for beaches, rock formations and scenic locations. Distance: about 20 kilometres (12 miles) from the cruise terminal. Activities: spend time on the beach, see sights including the “Sea Spirit” statue and discover local seafood cuisine.
Dongji Island's traditional fishing villages and calm atmosphere reveal something of local life. Distance: approximately 50 kilometres (31 miles) from the cruise terminal, involving a ferry journey. Activities: wander through the charming village, eat local seafood and appreciate the natural landscape.
