Arriving at the port
The main cruise terminal on Pingtan Island is the Pingtan International Cruise Home Port. It is located in the Aoqian Town area, which is part of the Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Zone.
The cruise terminal is approximately 15 kilometers (about 9 miles) from downtown Pingtan. The drive usually takes around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
Taxis and shuttle buses are readily available at the cruise terminal to take visitors to downtown and other attractions on the island. Renting a car is also an option for more flexibility in exploring the island.
