Arriving at the port
Parikia Port is located in the heart of Parikia, which is the capital and main town of Paros.
You will be docked in the center of town. Large cruise ships will anchor and use their tenders to bring you ashore.

Most of Paros town can be explored on foot. You may want to visit the Old Market and the Archaeological Museum.
Getting around
Seaside Promenade: The waterfront area of Parikia is perfect for a leisurely stroll, offering scenic views of the harbor and opportunities to enjoy fresh seafood at waterfront restaurants.
Nearby places
Outside of town, a 20-minute drive takes you to the Valley of the Butterflies; the ancient marble quarries are an equal distance away. Some of the best beaches include Golden Beach, Kolimbithres, Logaras, Piso Livadi and Pounda (best for scuba diving).

Public Services: open Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 2.00pm. Retail Stores & Specialty Shops: Monday to Friday, 9am – 1.30pm and then again from 5pm – 9pm. Saturdays, 9am – 2pm. Supermarkets: Monday to Friday, 9am – 9pm, and Saturdays, 9am – 6pm. Tourist Shops and Convenience Stores: most of these do not have official opening hours and are usually open from dawn to well after midnight during the summer months.
