Arriving at the port
Folegandros is a smaller, more traditional Greek island, so it doesn't have a large cruise terminal. Cruise ships usually anchor offshore and tender passengers to the main port, Karavostasis.
Karavostasis, the main port of Folegandros, is quite close to the main town (Chora). The distance is about 3 kilometers, which can be covered by a short drive or a 30-40 minute walk. Shuttle buses, taxis, or local transport options are typically available for passengers.
Chora,The main town, known for its charming white-washed buildings, narrow streets, and picturesque squares. Explore the Kastro (old fortified part), and enjoy the local shops, cafes, and restaurants.
Getting around
Church of Panagia A beautiful church located above Chora. It offers stunning panoramic views of the island and the Aegean Sea. The hike up to the church is well worth the effort, especially during sunset.
Plenty of beaches around.
