01

Arriving at the port

Access to Delos is by cruise organized excursion, principally from nearby Mykonos but also from other Cycladic islands. Or by ferry.

The island of Delos (Greek:?????, Dhilos), isolated in the center of the roughly circular ring of islands called the Cyclades, near Mykonos, is one of the most important mythological, historical and archeological sites in Greece. The excavations in the island are among the most extensive in the Mediterranean; ongoing work takes place under the direction of the French School at Athens.

The 2001 Greek census reported a population of 14 inhabitants on the island. The island is administratively a part of the municipality of Mýkonos.

02

Getting around

In high season, ferries leave Mykonos for Delos at 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00 am and return ferries leave Delos at 12:15, 1:30, and 3:00 pm. Your fare (15 euros ) includes the ferry and return trip as well as the museum on the island.
