The 1.5 mile long stretch of land on the natural island of Sir Bani Yas, just off the southwest coast of Abu Dhabi, features hundreds of palm trees, shaded cabanas and more than 2,000 sunbeds across 387,500 square feet of beaches.
Taking up about half of Sir Bani Yas Island, the Arabian Wildlife Park provides an environment for wild animals to freely roam while the island remains opened for visitors. The Park houses some 13,000 animals indigenous to the Arabian Peninsula including the endangered Arabian Oryx, Sand Gazelle and Mountain Gazelle as well as free-roaming predators and scavengers such as the Sudan cheetah and striped hyena.
Complimentary parasols, wooden sun loungers and freshwater showers are dotted around the beach, which is divided into sections to suit the needs of different clients. To one side, there is a children’s play area and an inflatable aqua park with floating mats for families, while in a more remote section, spa services and cabanas are set up for a more relaxed experience.
The beach is complemented by a lush mangrove lagoon, where cruise passengers can spot nesting ospreys or flamingos while they kayak or paddle-board.
Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Resorts offer lavish comforts, splendorous views and adventurous getaways. A shuttle to the resort is offered (20minutes) where sun beds, umbrellas etc are available.
