Arriving at the port
The main cruise terminal in Salinas is the Puerto de Salinas, located in the town's harbor area. The terminal is relatively small compared to other major ports in Puerto Rico, but it offers a welcoming entry point to the region.
The cruise terminal is very close to downtown Salinas. It’s about a 5-10 minute walk from the terminal to the heart of the town. The distance is roughly 1-2 miles (1.5-3 kilometers), making it easy to explore the area on foot.
Salinas Town Center: Wander through the small, picturesque streets of Salinas, where you can experience local shops, cafes, and restaurants.
Playa de Salinas: Enjoy the beautiful beach nearby. It’s a great spot for relaxing, swimming, or just taking in the views.
Getting around
La Parguera: If you’re up for a short drive, La Parguera is a nearby coastal village known for its bioluminescent bay. You can take a boat tour to see this natural wonder.
