01

Arriving at the port

Salinas' principal cruise facility is Puerto de Salinas in the town's harbour district. Although relatively small beside Puerto Rico's other major ports, it provides a welcoming entrance to the region.

The cruise terminal is very close to central Salinas, about a 5-10-minute walk from the heart of town. The distance is roughly 1-2 miles (1.5-3 kilometres), making the district easy to discover on foot.

Salinas Town Center: wander along the small, picturesque streets for local shops, cafés and restaurants.

Playa de Salinas: enjoy the nearby beautiful beach, an excellent place to relax, swim or simply admire the views.

02

Getting around

La Parguera: a short drive reaches this nearby coastal village, known for its bioluminescent bay. Boat trips offer views of the natural phenomenon.
