Arriving at the port
The small town of Rosendal lies on the southern side of the Hardangerfjord entrance.
Because the port is small, passengers are brought ashore by tender.
The town is less than 1 km away.
Rosendal is little more than a village, and most places can be reached on foot. During summer, a horse and carriage travels from the harbour to the Baroniet.
The town's main attraction is Baroniet Rosendal, a castle set amid a beautiful park and rose garden.
The Shipbuilding Museum stands immediately beside the harbour and opens for the summer season.
