Arriving at the port
This is a tender port. The jetty is in the center of town.
Robe is situated on Guichen Bay, about 350km south east of Adelaide.
As a visitor to the town you can still immerse yourself in Robe’s seafaring history – full of extraordinary events and wonderful sites. There are over 84 historic buildings and sites. Special care has been taken to restore most of the original buildings. By walking the streets and visiting these buildings one can relive Robe’s pioneering history.
Getting around
Mount Benson Wine Region The Mount Benson Wine Region know as ‘terra rossa by the sea’ is just 15 minutes from Robe. Acclaimed for its cool climate wines, the region specializes in both reds and whites.
Take a 30 minute drive via the Little Dip National Park to the pretty bay of Nora Creina. At Beachport, see the historic jetty, do the coastal tourist drive, and visit the extraordinary Woakwine Cutting on the way back to Robe
