Arriving at the port
The port is relatively close to the downtown area of Rio Grande. The distance from the cruise terminal to the city center is approximately 2 kilometers (about 1.2 miles). This short distance makes it convenient for passengers to access the downtown area either by walking, taking a taxi, or using local transportation.
Cathedral of St. Peter: A beautiful neoclassical cathedral located in the heart of the city, known for its impressive architecture and historical significance.
Oceanographic Museum (Museu Oceanográfico): This museum is part of the Federal University ofCathedral of St. Peter Rio Grande (FURG) and offers exhibits related to marine biology, oceanography, and local marine life.
