Arriving at the port
Oulu cruise ships normally use the Port of Oulu in the Toppila district, which acts as the city's docking point for visiting vessels.
Downtown Oulu is about 3.5 kilometers from the Port of Oulu. The journey takes around 10 minutes by car, or a little longer by public transport or bicycle.
Frequent buses run between the port district and the city centre, with an efficient local service reaching downtown in about 15-20 minutes.
