Arriving at the port
Nightingale Island is a remote, uninhabited volcanic island in the Tristan da Cunha group, a St. Helena dependency, and is valued for its rugged, unspoilt natural setting. Cruise visitors chiefly come to watch birds such as the Nightingale Bunting, explore the dramatic coast and look for marine wildlife including penguins and dolphins, often on guided shore excursions.
