Arriving at the port
Cruise ships normally berth at the Port of Namsos, conveniently close to the town centre. The precise position can change, but vessels generally use the pier beside the port's industrial and commercial districts.
The distance is approximately 1 to 2 kilometres, so visitors can reach and explore the town very easily on foot.
Namdalsmuseet, or Namdal Museum, is an open-air collection presenting traditional Norwegian homes and artefacts.
