Arriving at the port

In the heart of Queensland's Sunshine Coast, this bright stretch of shore is known for pristine beaches, natural scenery and a relaxed atmosphere.

Tender boats arrive at the doorstep of Underwater World, right in the centre of Mooloolaba.

Together with Alexandra Headland and Cotton Tree, Mooloolaba and Maroochydore make up the Maroochy region.

During summer, families fill Maroochy to enjoy the surf beaches and good fishing.

Mooloolaba's natural beaches are unquestionably its principal attraction.

Next to the Wharf, Underwater World is a popular aquarium for both tourists and locals. Watch the seal shows, swim with sharks and learn about the marine life that fascinates so many city visitors.

Several operators run river cruises on the Mooloolah River, leaving from the Wharf in Mooloolaba.

Formerly a small fishing village, Mooloolaba now has a glamorous beachfront Esplanade filled with boutiques, outdoor cafés and some of the Sunshine Coast's finest restaurants.
