Arriving at the port

Coron is an island (and, with Busuanga Island, a municipality) in the Calamian Group of Islands in northern Palawan, the Philippines. The area has a small population of 32,000 and is known for its fishing, tourism, and diving amongst sunken Japanese warships. Coron Island features large forested limestone sea cliffs overlooking the waters between the two islands.

Getting around

Coron Island, located at the northern tip of Palawan in the Philippines, is known for several Japanese shipwrecks World War II vintage. The area around the wrecks has pleasant rock formations which provide for excellent snorkeling opportunities, with underwater visibility extending up to 80 feet.
