On Selbjørn island in Norway’s Austevoll Municipality, Vestland county, Bekkjarvik is a compact coastal village recognised for its attractive harbour, seafaring heritage and food.
Bekkjarvik occasionally appears as a port call on smaller Norwegian coastal or expedition-style cruises, especially boutique ships exploring fjords and coastal settlements near Bergen and the Hardangerfjord region.
